I have always enjoyed photography, and ever since
I got my first camera at the age of ten, photography has been a great
hobby of mine. When my children were young and it was hard to find
time for my creative work, the camera became my sketchpad. I took
pictures of everything, composed and found natural motives. As time
went by, the collection of photographs just grew and grew.
A colleague of mine caught sight of them and through her enthusiasm
eventually persuaded me to put them on show. This resulted in an exhibition
with a selection of my photos at Gallery Rostrum’s Art after
work, titled “Photographical Sketches”. The exhibition
consisted of a careful selection from my huge photographic archive,
displayed in a sequence along the walls of the room, forming a ribbon
of pictures.
