What’s on – a sample
  • Blommandeljus (Light in blossom), temporary light artwork in Stadsparken, a park in central Lund, lasting from February through March 2011. The artwork was inspired by the city's annual plants and flower project, and it focuses on Stadsparken's 100th anniversary.
Coloured light is filtrated through the crowns of trees and is projected down on the ground, allowing the audience to pass through and linger in the warmly flaunting flowerbeds of light, even during these dark time of the year. It is an opportunity to devour spring in advance. The visitors stroll, run and bike among the flowerbeds painted on the ground by artificial light.
With different methods of light setting, large fields of colour are created where dollops of other colours simulates flowers with petals and pistils. The spectra covers mainly warm nuances of red, pink and orange, with streaks of amaranth, blue, violet and yellow.
  • I am right now investigating the possibilities of filmed light in floating balloons, creating the effect of light hovering in the air, as if some object from outer space.
Also I have my ongoing work aiming to somehow domesticate the natural light. I am sketching on ideas and am about to launch a project with a light installation entirely free of artificial light.
